Updating a story we have in this Oct. 11 issue of The Glengarry News and an earlier post on our website, the CCHL Hawkesbury Hawks will indeed be playing a few more "home" games in Alexandria, at the Glengarry Sports Palace.

A media release from the team indicated all remaining home games for 2017 would be played in Vankleek Hill, with one in Rockland. However, the schedule was altered to accommodate the Hawks a few more times in Alexandria.

To date, the Hawks are 2-0 at the Palace, including a win last Friday night.

The latest schedule update has Hawks games in Alexandria slated for Nov. 17, Nov 26, and Dec. 15.

Next "home" action for the team is booked for Oct. 13 at 1:30 pm, in Vankleek Hill, versus Pembroke.

The Hawks are hoping to return to their home nest, the Robert Hartley Sports Complex, in January, if repairs are completed.
