It's been a tough start to the junior 'A' hockey season for the Cornwall Colts, who saw their record fall to 0-5 on Sept. 9, with a 3-1 loss to Nepean. The defeat came three days after the team's home opener, which went into the books as a 1-0 loss to Brockville.
Several county boys are members of the Colts this season, including defencemen David Poirier and Ben Dirven, along with forwards Liam MacDonald, Jeremy Quesnel, and Ethan Mulhearn.
The squad will play it's next two matches on home ice, starting Sept. 13, when Kemptville will visit the Cornwall Civic Complex. A week later, Navan will provide the opposition. Both are 7:30 p.m. starts.
