Coach Hubert Gauthier reports that athletes from Le Relais demonstrated good team spirit at last week's PRSSAA track and field meet in Ottawa, with 18 Rapides qualifying to advance to EOSSAA.

Le Relais' junior girls 4x100 m relay team would have earned an EOSSAA berth too, had it not been for a bad exchange of the baton at the PRSSAA meet.

EOSSAA is scheduled for May 18-19, at TISS in Brockville.

High school track and field athletes compete today in Ottawa

The SDGAA and PRSSAA high school sports leagues are joining forces to host their respective track and field championships for high school student-athletes in Ottawa today, at the Terry Fox complex.

We will have results in next week's edition of The Glengarry News. The May 10 edition of the newspaper includes recent track and field news from Tagwi and GDHS.

Le Relais senior girls are PRSSAA soccer champs

Today on their home field, Les Intrepides scored a decisive victory to claim the Prescott-Russell high school league senior girls soccer championship for Le Relais.

We will have a full recap in next week's issue of The Glengarry News, as the event wrapped up today after we had gone to press.  In the meantime, here is a photo of some of the action.

Le Relais senior girls to go for PRSSAA soccer championship this afternoon

On their home field, the senior girls soccer team from Le Relais will be vying for the league playoff title today, Oct. 18, in a match set to kick off at 1:30pm. Les Rapides scored a decisive 6-0 victory in their semifinal this morning.

Le Relais soccer playoffs kick off

Playoffs for Le Relais' boys soccer teams are taking place today, Oct. 17, at St. Francis Xavier, in Hammond.

Senior girls playoffs will be held tomorrow, Oct. 18, in Alexandria, at Le Relais, as Les Rapides are the top seed.

Le Relais competes in the Prescott-Russell league, which holds all its soccer action in the fall. Winners of each division will advance to EOSSAA, next spring.
