Les Rapides completed round-robin play of the Grade 7/8 Franco hockey tournament in Ottawa with an unbeaten record, as le Relais had 3 wins and 1 tie.
The boys, playing in the 'AA' division, placed second of 12 teams, earning a bye to Friday's semifinal, set for an 11 a.m. start. If they win, they'll advance to the gold-medal game at 3 p.m., but if they lose, les Rapides will instead play for bronze at 2 p.m.

A week after winning the pre-Franco hockey tournament in Casselman, the boys from le Relais scored silver at the Tournoi Franco-Ontarien, where they ran the table unbeaten before colliding with a formidable foe in the final.
