Glengarry soccer player scores first international goal

Playing for the Canadian national women's soccer team, Christina Julien of Williamstown scored her first international goal and Canada's only marker in a match that finished up as a 1-1 draw against New Zealand at the 2009 Cyprus Cup today. For the Char-Lan graduate and American college all-star, the game was also her first-ever experience at the international level.

Julien and her Canadian teammates will next see action March 7 versus the Netherlands.
