County to host high school soccer playoffs on Friday

Playoff action in all four divisions of high school A soccer (senior boys, senior girls, junior boys, and junior girls) will take place Friday, May 22 on fields in the county.

First-place GDHS will host the senior girls tournament, while Char-Lan will host senior boys and both junior tourneys, since Crusader teams topped the standings in each of those divisions.

Junior schedule

All games will be played at Char-Lan DHS in Williamstown:

9:30 a.m.: girls semifinals

• Holy Trinity (4th) vs Char-Lan (1st)
• Russell (3rd) vs GDHS (2nd)

11 a.m.: boys semifinals

• Tagwi (4th) vs Char-Lan (1st)
• Russell (3rd) vs GDHS (2nd)

12:30 p.m.: boys championship match

2 p.m.: girls championship match
