Glengarry soccer season officially begins Sunday

Sunday will mark the official beginning of summer in Glengarry as the Glengarry Soccer League's season kicks off with the senior editions of the Gerald MacDonald tournament.

Women's schedule (all games to be played on the arena pitch in Alexandria)

• 9 a.m.: Glen Nevis vs T2
• 10 a.m.: Alexandria vs Vankleek Hill
• 11 a.m.: Char-Lan vs Laggan
• 1 p.m.: winner game one vs winner game two
• 3 p.m.: winner game three vs winner of semifinal -  championship match

Men's schedule

• 10 a.m.: Drillers vs Stingers (park south field)
• 11 a.m.: Char-Lan vs Greenfield (park south field)
• noon: Glen Nevis vs McCrimmon (arena field)
• 2 p.m.: winner game one vs winner game two (arena field)
• 4 p.m.: winner game three vs winner of semifinal - championship match (arena field)
