Spectacular rollover highlights speedway action
A spectacular rollover involving a driver from St. Andrew's West punctuated a full night of action last Sunday at the Cornwall Motor Speedway.
Gage Morin, aged 16, was driving car #16 in the modifieds division when he was involved in what Speedway General Manager Carol Morin-Flanagan describes as "an extreme heart-stopping rollover" during his heat race on June 28. Fortunately, the driver was only a little shaken up and able to walk away from the incident just fine. The car, however, was another story.
The driver is sponsored by two Glengarry companies: D & A Tractor Sales (Don Routhier) and and B & L Metals (Andy Lubbers and Dave Bissonnette).

This Sunday, July 5, the schedule at the speedway includes a 50-lap race in the MrDIRTcar Sportsman class, the third race in the Mohawk Race Parts Pro-stock series, a modifieds feature, and a mini-stocks feature.
