Hearts, Celtics to vie for Knockout Cup

The Hearts of Glengarry and the Glen Sandfield Celtics will compete for this year's Knockout Cup in Tier II men's soccer action in the Glengarry Soccer League.
In semifinal matches played Thursday, the Hearts beat Glen Nevis 8-2, while the Celtics clipped McCrimmon 3-2.
The tournament championship match had been scheduled for Saturday, but that game has now been cancelled. Instead, the cup will go to the winner of the next regular-season contest between the Hearts and Celtics, which is booked for Monday, July 27 on the Apple Hill pitch. Kickoff will be at 8:30 p.m.
