Double-barrelled junior B hockey on tap for the county tonight

The rinks in Alexandria and Williamstown will both be busszing tonight with CCHL2 junior 'B' hockey action, with the Glens (22-11-2-1) hosting the league-leading Perth Blue Wings (33-4-1-1) at the Glengarry Sports Palace, while the Rebels (12-19-3-3) will entertain the Casselman Vikings (33-3-1-0) at the Char-Lan Rec. Centre. Both games are 8pm starts.

Char-Lan will need to find a way to contain the Vikings' leading scorer, Sebastien Plante, who has racked up 92 points. He wears jersey #12. Casselman's Maxime Paquette, #2, is a the only other member of the 50-plus-points club at 58. The Rebels have one players with over 50 points, in Kevin Hope.

Perth has a well-distributed offence with four members of the 50-plus-points club on its roster: Danick Genest (#7), Mathew Ladrosse (#12), Nicolas Brazeau (#20), and Dylan McNamara (#21). The Glens have two players who have reached this echelon: Bradlery Gabbour and Connor MacLeod.

As for goaltending, Perth's Kevan Dumouchel is the best in the business this season, sporting a 2.35 goals against average. James Hack of the Glens sits at 2.68, while Cory Garrow at 3.99 has the best record about Rebels netminders. Casselman's top backstop is Gianmarco De Meis, who has a 2.49 GAA.
