Tagwi wins high school football opener

The high school football season kicked off today as the Tagwi Warriors took to their home field for afternoon match against St. Francis Xavier.
Two second-half major scores sealed the victory, as the Warriors handled the Falcons 21-2 to chalk up win number one.

Holy Trinity opens its season Friday night under the lights at Joe St. Denis Field in Cornwall. The juniors play at 6 p.m., followed by the senior squad at 8 p.m.
