Rebs hand Akwesasne first point
Though they have yet to be beaten in regulation time, Char-Lan's Junior B hockey team was in a generous mood last Saturday night as the Rebs handed Akwesasne its first point of the season in a 3-3 tie.
Char-Lan led by two goals at the end of both the first and second periods, on scores of 2-0 and 3-1 respectively, but the Rebs could not hold it, as the Wolves bit the Rebs for a pair in the final frame to knot the affair.
Goal scorers for Char-Lan were Reid Lepine, Taylor Eamon (the first of the season for the rookie), and Pat Mainville.
For Char-Lan, it marked the second tie of the weekend, as the Rebs played to a 4-4 finish a night earlier in Alexandria, again despite having the lead earlier.

Looking ahead to this weekend, Char-Lan will play in Casselman on Thursday evening and host Morrisburg for a 7:45 p.m. start on Saturday night.
