Alexandria Glens double Morrisburg
The Alexandria Glens bagged a much-needed victory last weekend, doubling Morrisburg 6-3.
The Glens held a 2-0 lead after the opening frame on a pair of goals from Emilien Dupont, adding another in the second stanza from Julien MacHabee. However, in the same period, the Lions roared back to make it a 3-3 tie at the second intermission.
In the third, though, Alexandria fired up its offence, getting markers from Erik Just, Shane Kitchen, and Brennan Tousignnant.
One oddity thus far this season, the Glens are dominating in terms of shots game after game but have the fewest goals, 19, among the teams in the St. Lawrence Division, with the exception of Akwesasne.

This weekend, Alexandria will host Casselman on Friday night, starting at 8 p.m., then play in Winchester on Saturday night.
