Mustangs win on home ice

Maxville's Junior C hockey team scored a much needed win on home ice last Saturday night, beating St. Isidore 6-4.
Richard Mulligan paced the offence with a three-point night (2 goals, 1 assist), with Brandon Gilmour also scoring a pair and adding one helper. Other marksmen were Ryan Brady-Gratton and Mike Muldoon, as Logan Gunn got the win between the pipes.
A night earlier in Embrun, the Mustangs took it on the chin with a 7-0 loss.
Looking ahead, on Saturday, Oct. 24, Maxville will host the Rockland Nationals in a 7:30 p.m. start. On Sunday, the Stangs will travel to Vankleek Hill for a match also beginning at 7:30 p.m.
