Maxville Mustangs double Vankleek Hill

In Junior C hockey action last Saturday, the Maxville Mustangs travelled to Vankleek Hill, dominating the Cougars in an 8-4 victory.

The host side actually held a 4-3 advantage after two period, but a five-goal outpouring in the final frame secured victory for the Stangs.

For Richard Mulligan, it was a five-point night (1 goal, 4 assists). Other multiple point-getters were Alain Begin (2 goals), Grant Mitchell (1 goal, 2 assists), and Brandon Gilmour (1 goal, 1 assist). Also hitting the scoresheet with goals were Marc Bergeron, Mathieu Houle, and Kyle Jeaurond, while nabbing helpers were Jeff Larose, Zach Herfkins, and Ryan Brady-Gratton.

On Friday, Nov. 13, the Mustangs (4-7-1) will play in Gatineau.
