Char-Lan girls win consolation quarter (UPDATED)

The Char-Lan girls won their consolation quarter-final match this afternoon, beating Mitchell DHS 43-35.
Next up, the Crusaders will square off Saturday morning at the St. Joseph's gym in a consolation round semifinal match against Rockway Mennonite, the fourth-seeded team that was upset in the opening round of the tournament. Tip-off is booked for 10:30 a.m.
The winner of that match will play in the consolation final at 4 p.m. at Holy Trinity, while the tourney will be over for the loser.
