Maxville Mustangs win shootout thriller versus Vankleek Hill

Hosting the Vankleek Hill Cougars for a Feb. 6 hockey game in Maxville, the Mustangs scored a dramatic victory when eighth shooter Kyle Blohm notched the shootout winner for what into the books as a 4-3 victory. Blohm also scored earlier, as did Maxville players Mathieu Houle and Grant Mitchell, while Chris Telford earned the win between the pipes. For more, check out the team website here.
Final weekend
The Mustangs' last game of the regular season is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13, with the Embrun Panthers set to travel to Maxville. Game time is 7:30 pm.
