Provincial football league kicks off locally on Saturday

The local entry in the OVFL, the Cornwall Wildcats, will take to the field on Saturday afternoon for their first crack at provincial-level varsity football.
Opening kickoff is booked for 3:30 p.m. when the Wildcats will square off against the York-Simcoe Storm Raiders.
Our local teams draws players from across the united counties, including a strong contingent from Glengarry. Among the latter are Spencer Meldrum, Kevin Aleinik, David Suter, David Pilon, Michael Helmer, Kacey Basalle, Brandon Picken, Jordan Wurah, and Alex Labonte.
