Football action this weekend

Friday night, the Maxville Fair will host a pair of youth football games to showcase the heritage of the sport locally. Games will kick off at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Spring league finals
Sunday, June 27 will see the spring football league finals take to the field. The schedule is as follows:
- 10 a.m. in Russell: Russell #1 vs Cornwall #2, mosquito division final
- 1 p.m. in Cornwall: Cornwall #1 vs Cornwall #2, peewee division final
- 3 p.m. in Cornwall: Cornwall #2 vs Cornwall #3, tyke division final
- 5 p.m. in Cornwall: Cornwall #1 vs Cornwall #3, bantam final
