The MrDIRTcar Big Block Series hits Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday Night

The MrDIRTcar Big Block Tour will hit Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday, July 11 with the presentation of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino International 100 which will be event #8 in the Super DIRTcar Series that travels across Canada and United-States. A complete race program of Pro-Stock, Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock will complete the schedule with no Sportsman.

Current Super DIRTcar Series points leader, Billy Decker will lead the way with several other superstars like Matt Sheppard, last year`s event winner, Jimmy Phelps, Danny Johnson, Brett Hearn, Dale Planck, Billy Dunn, Michael Storms, Ryan Phelps, Tom Sears,Jr, Rich Scagliotta and others will invade Cornwall to compete against local stars such as points leader Laurent Ladouceur, brothers Danny and Tim O’Brien, young guns Luke Whitteker, Kyle Dingwall, Gage Morin and Matt Billings, Carey Terrance, Dave Heaslip, Joel Doiron and others will try to defend home turf during 100 laps around the Cornwall bullring and try to win the coveted title and $6,000 included with the winner’s trophy.

The always competitive Pro-Stock category will have some action in a 20-lap feature race with the Semi-Pro with 15 laps and Mini-Stock with a dozen will complete the racing card. The Sportsman will have a night off.

The pit gates will open at 3:30pm with general admission opening at 4pm. Time Trials are scheduled for 5:30pm with the first heat to start at 6pm.
