Ray Lavergne, owner of the Cornwall Motor Speedway, and his team have been busy in recent days, negotiating to find new dates for various series to visit the local dirt track.
Here are the revised details:
May 28: The Race for the Cure Sportsman Series will be run on Sunday, May 28, along with the Eastern Ontario Vintage Club, plus a complete race program for Modified, Pro-Stock, Mini-Stock. The Slick Track Enduro will also be run on Sunday, after the regular racing program.
June 11: The 25-lap Cindy Ladouceur Memorial feature will start the evening. The Street-Stock division has been added as well, in addition to a full program for all divisions.
July 2: The final qualifying race of the 125-lap Canadian Nationals will take place, along with the Ultimate Pro-Stock Series, Street-Stock, Sportsman, and Mini-Stock to make the Canada Day weekend a big event.
July 23: The autograph session scheduled for July 2 has been postponed to July 23.
August 20: The Quebec Mini-Modified that were scheduled to race on May 28 have agreed to have their date pushed to August 20.
Keep your tickets
The track reminds holders of tickets from last weekend's rainouts that they will be honoured over the next three events (May 28, June 4, June 11), and the price will be adjusted, as appropriate.
