Glengarry Sports Palace
With Nicolas Rousseau sidelined by injury, the Alexandria Glens CCHL2 hockey team is expected to go with Brennan Nadeau between the pipes in back-to-back games this weekend, at the Glengarry Sports Palace. Tonight, Oct. 20, the Ottawa Canadians will provide the opposition, while on Saturday evening it will be the Westport Rideaus.
Tonight's match drops the puck on a five-game homestand. All are 8 pm starts.
A two-game stint of home games at the Glengarry Sports Palace in Alexandria appears to be it for the Hawkesbury Hawks, who are moving on to play most of their remaining 2017 home games in Vankleek Hill due to ongoing problems at the Hawkesbury rink complex.

Just a reminder to fans of the Alexandria Glens, the team doesn't have a home game this weekend. Instead, the boys will play Friday night in Winchester and Saturday night in Cobden.

The youth baseball program's house league play opening day is scheduled for Saturday, May 13.
After getting a bye in the first high school girls hockey tournament of the season last week, the Char-Lan Crusaders took it to their opponents in action today in Alexandria, scoring a pair of decisive wins.
Also playing for the first time this season were the GDHS Gaels, who suffered two defeats. Tagwi dropped both its matches today, while Holy Trinity won one and tied its other.
