North Glengarry staff and council members participated in Jersey Day April 12 to show their support for the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team following a bus crash that claimed the lives of 16 members of the club. The flag at town hall was also lowered to half-staff. "All of us were deeply saddened by the tragedy in Saskatchewan, particularly as many of us have spent countless hours on buses travelling to hockey games and other sporting events," said Mayor McDonell. Across the country Thursday, people showed up to work and school decked out in jerseys and sharing the message that we are all one team and that we all feel this loss.
