Rescheduled due to inclement weather and bus cancellations last week, the SD&G high school curling championships are taking place today and tomorrow, in Morrisburg.
Char-Lan DHS has two girls rinks and one boys team competing in the event, while Glengarry has a team in each division (boys, girls, mixed). Tagwi is only entered in the boys group, while Holy Trinity's lone team is a female foursome.
On Wednesday, the boys hockey team from Char-Lan DHS squared off against la Citadelle, in Morrisburg. A photo gallery of the action can be viewed online here, and we have a story of the day's proceedings in the Dec. 26 issue of The Glengarry News.
