Le Relais' junior girls 4x100 m relay team would have earned an EOSSAA berth too, had it not been for a bad exchange of the baton at the PRSSAA meet.
EOSSAA is scheduled for May 18-19, at TISS in Brockville.
The boys hockey team from Le Relais is skating in Alexandria today at their pre-Franco tournament, their final action before heading off to compete at the provincial Francophone event, the Tournoi Franco-Ontarien.
We will have the story in The Glengarry News next week.

The Glengarry Sports Palace in Alexandria will see a full day of high school hockey action on Friday, as Le Relais hosts a pre-Franco boys hockey tournament. The event serves as a final warm-up for the area's French-language high schools, which will have teams competing early next month in the Tournoi Franco-Ontarien.
Here's the schedule of matches for March 24:
In junior girls volleyball, at a Dec. 8 tournament in Rockland, Le Relais lost its opening matchup to the home team, 'AA' L'Escale, on scores of 23-25 and 23-25. Les Rapides then prevailed over St. Francis-Xavier, 25-8 and 25-22.
The girls went on to fall to top-ranked Casselman 'AA' in the day's semifinal. Scores were 16-25 and 18-25.
Dec. 15 in Casselman, Les Rapides began with a pair of wins, beating ESCRH (25-12, 25-17) and St. Thomas (25-23, 25-22). The girls then dropped their semifinal to Plantagenet (23-25, 22-25).
Le Relais is competing in tier 1 of the PRSSAA high school league and is coached by Hubert Gauthier.
Le Relais' girls varsity hockey team opened its PRSSAA league season earlier this month, getting off to what coach Lisa Ann Belle-Isle describes as "a good start to our season."
The ladies skated to a 5-0 victory against École secondaire catholique L'Escale. They followed up with a 4-1 winover St. Thomas Acquinas.
Les Rapides will next see league play in February.
