The GDHS Gaels junior boys soccer team entered EOSSAA today in Renfrew with a league record of 4 wins, one tie, and one loss, and were seeded first in the tournament that included squads from Le Relais (fifth seed) and Char-Lan (sixth).
Glengarry opened the competition with a 0-0 draw versus the host St. Joseph's team in Pool D (The Gaels won the ensuing tie-breaker shootout), while in Pool C, Char-Lan blasted Rideau 4-0. In game two, the Gaels clipped Le Relais, but are now awaiting the rest of the results to see if they qualify for the final.
The Crusaders are playing Mackenzie now, while Les Rapides are tangling with the host side.
The junior championship match is set for 4:30pm.

GDHS is currently on the floor at the Falcons' Nest, taking on La Citadelle in SD&G junior boys basketball quarter-final play. The winner of the game will advance to play Holy Trinity in a 2:30pm semifinal.
Meanwhile at St. Lawrence, Tagwi will take on L'Heritage in a quarter-final at 4pm. The Saints await the winner, to play in the 5:30pm semifinal.
