Kanata scored four third-period goals to upset the Cornwall Colts 5-4 at the Ed Lumley Arena. It was the Colts’ first home loss of the season.

Cornwall’s offence was led by Nick Lalonde who had a goal (his fifth of the season) and two assists. Tanner Spink (4) recorded a goal and an assist.  Sebastian Dirven (2) and Roddie Sandilands (1) also scored.

The Colts outshot the Lasers 38-30, with Matt Efros suffering the loss in goal.

The Colts record falls to 5-2-0-1 for 11 points on the season. That’s good enough for 2nd place in the tight Robinson Division.

Three Stars were First Star Paul Vella (Kanata), Dan Porter (Kanata) and Tanner Spink (Colts).

The Colts next game is Saturday, Sept. 24, in Ottawa, versus the Jr. Senators. Cornwall returns to the Ed Lumley Arena next Thursday to host Smiths Falls in the first game of a home-and-home series with the Bears. Game time is 7:30pm.
