Lancaster's Philippe Veilleux will be in Ottawa later this week, competing with the Concordia University men's baseball team in the national championship tournament.
The Stingers qualified as a wildcard entry after winning back-to-back games last weekend over Montreal.
Veilleux, who studies urban planning at Concordia, is an outfielder with the team.
The tournament is scheduled to run Oct. 18 to 21, with the Stingers scheduled to play three round-robin games: Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. versus New Brunswick, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. against McGill, and Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. versus Carleton.
The action is scheduled to be streamed on Facebook here.
