sean May 5, 2015 - 11:24am

The new league that is taking the place of the junior B EOJHL continues to take shape, with committee meetings scheduled for tomorrow evening in Ottawa, according to Rebels general manager Eric Fontaine.

The CCHL2, as it will be known, has yet to confirm the member clubs for its inaugural season, though its expected that Char-Lan and Alexandria will be among the 16 teams granted franchises.

The May 6 meeting will review recommendations of the different committees that have been identified, such as Hockey Operations, Constitution, and Finance.

The CCHL2 will be run under the auspices of the junior A CCHL, which has also taken over the operation of an expanded midget hockey league in Eastern Ontario.
