Cruickshank sold

The Cruickshank Group, once known as Glengarry Aggregates, has been sold to Toronto-based Coco Group.

With the acquisition of the firms, which employ 700, the Coco Group says it will be able to better serve customers in heavy civil construction and asphalt paving projects and by providing aggregate materials from 19 licensed pits and quarries and performing area maintenance contracts, clearing more than 1,000 kilometres of roadway every winter.

The Sir John Johnson Manor House Committee invites applications from university, college, even graduating high school students, for the position of summer curator/archivist in one of Ontario’s oldest and most historical houses.
Up to two students (depending on government funding) will be required for 10 to 16 weeks (35 hours per week) this summer.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of local history, especially of the Manor House.
