County teams remain active in other divisions as well.

Major midget

Char-Lan swept North Dundas their opening playoff series, winning 3-1 and 4-0. NGS wasn't as fortunate, bounced by South Dundas 4-1 and 4-1.

The Rebels completed the regular season in second place in the east division, with a record of 15-4-5, while NGS was last, at 3-19-2.

Minor midget

The NGS Braves, seeded third (12-10-2) are currently playing the second-place Seaway Valley Spartans, who won game one 2-1. The second match is slated for March 3 in Maxville, at 7pm. If a third contest is needed, it will be played in Cornwall the next day, beginning at 6:40pm.

The favoured Char-Lan Rebels are done, having lost their playoff series to Cornwall, 5-1 and 1-0.

NGS is also finished. The Braves lost their opener 4-3 to South Stormont. They won game two 5-2, then dropped the third 4-2.

Char-Lan took top spot in the regular season, with a 21-2-1 record. Alexandria was third, and NGS last in the east division.

In playoff action, the Rebels pounded the North Dundas Demons 7-0 and 3-0 to advance to the next round.

NGS was earlier eliminated by Alexandria, on scores of 5-2 and 5-1. The Glens are currently playing the South Stormont Selects, tied at a game apiece. The third match of the series is set for tonight, Feb. 28, in Long Sault at 6pm.

Char-Lan placed first in the regular season too, sporting a record of 21-1-2. NGS was third.

The Braves and Rebels are currently battling in the playoffs, with game 1 in Finch on March 1, starting at 6pm. The second contest will be in Williamstown on March 4, at 9am, and, if needed, a third match will be played in Finch on March 8 at 6pm.
