Last weekend, the Alexandria Curling Club hosted the annual Moose Bonspiel and we have details in this week's edition of The Glengarry News.

A new chapter for one of the longest-running men's curling bonspiels in Eastern Ontario will take place this weekend, at the Alexandria Curling Club.
The Alexandria Moulding/Home Hardware Moose Bonspiel is welcoming 23 out-of-club rinks and one local squad to the event's 54th edition.The title sponsorship has helped to provide cash prizes for the first time to the four top teams who will also vie for the Claude Filion Trophy.
Matches are scheduled for Friday evening (March 16) and throughout the day Saturday.

Last weekend, the Lancaster Curling Club held its annual business bonspiel, and we have the story in The Glengarry News (Feb. 7 edition). A photo gallery is available online here.
Curling clubs in Alexandria and Maxville will be abuzz this weekend with bonspiel action.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, the Alexandria Curling Club will host its inaugural Beginners' Bonspiel, with matches scheduled to run throughout the day, culminating with evening entertainment.
On Sunday, the Glengarry Curling Club in Maxville will entertain curlers from the RCMP club in the Quebec Challenge Cup. The play is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
Three days of action concludes today in the Business Bonspiel at the Lancaster Curling Club, and we will have the story in the next edition of The Glengarry News. In the meantime, we have photos from the action available in our online galleries here.
