Today on their home field, Les Intrepides scored a decisive victory to claim the Prescott-Russell high school league senior girls soccer championship for Le Relais.

On their home field, the senior girls soccer team from Le Relais will be vying for the league playoff title today, Oct. 18, in a match set to kick off at 1:30pm. Les Rapides scored a decisive 6-0 victory in their semifinal this morning.

Playoffs for Le Relais' boys soccer teams are taking place today, Oct. 17, at St. Francis Xavier, in Hammond.
Senior girls playoffs will be held tomorrow, Oct. 18, in Alexandria, at Le Relais, as Les Rapides are the top seed.
Le Relais competes in the Prescott-Russell league, which holds all its soccer action in the fall. Winners of each division will advance to EOSSAA, next spring.

As a one-year trial, girls soccer is moving from the spring to the fall season for high schools that compete in the SDGAA. Boys soccer will remain in the spring, as some schools offer football in the fall.
Other fall sports available at most high schools include tennis, golf, boys volleyball, girls basketball, and cross-country running.
The PRSSAA, of which Le Relais is a member, continues to offer both boys and girls soccer in the fall, along with the other sports listed above.
