The county's own Brennan Seguin is seeded second entering the U20 men's pole vault competition, which will be held Sunday on the final day of the Canadian Track and Field Championships, in Ottawa.

The top-ranked vaulter is Jason Clare, checking in with a season-best mark of 4.70m, just ahead of Seguin at 4.65m. A Sherbrooke vaulter, Maxime Léveillé also has cleared 4.65m this season and is slated to jump eighth in the nine-man group.

Seguin, a student at Char-Lan DHS, trains with Rory Blackadder, of Martintown.
