No statement from GSL this week, AGM set for Sunday

office Dec 2, 2014 - 3:04pm

The Glengarry Soccer League's financial review committed has opted to make no further public statements. The committee last week presented its report to the outgoing GSL board, and will present it again at the league's Annual General Meeting on Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Sandfield Centre, in Alexandria's Island Park. The start time of that meeting is 7pm.

As noted in the Nov. 26 edition of The Glengarry News, all board positions are up for nomination and election. It's also expected that a number of changes will be voted on, including the reinstatement of the treasurer position, which had been eliminated a couple of years ago. The lack of financial oversight has been suggested as partly to blaim for the GSL's current financial deficit.
